About the Role

BetterMynd is seeking a motivated and passionate B2B Account Executive to join our high-growth, impact startup that is improving the mental health of America’s college students.

This person will be responsible for selling BetterMynd’s online therapy SaaS platform and counseling services directly to institutions of higher education throughout the entire U.S., with the key decision-maker typically being the VP of Student Life, and the Counseling Center Director being a key-influencer.

This is a high-intensity, “full funnel” sales role at a startup. As one of BetterMynd’s first sales hires, you will be working closely with the founder of the company in a small team setting. Within BetterMynd, you will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process from cold-calling to pipeline management, forecasting, negotiating, and closing deals.

The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health, intellectually curious, willing to adapt, and has a true hunter mindset to close new business and break into new college accounts.

Responsibilities

-Prospect for new college clients, pitch new business, and generate sales

-Cold calling and emailing decision-makers at colleges across the U.S.

-Hit or exceed quarterly sales targets

-Work closely alongside the company’s Founder & CEO to close new business and generate revenue

Required Qualifications

-3+ years B2B sales experience

-Demonstrated success in delivering against sales goals

-Experience negotiating and closing deals

-Excellent written and oral communications skills

-Team player

Additional Qualifications
-Previous experience selling into higher education a big plus

Location
Buffalo, NY highly preferred (willing to consider a virtual role for the right candidate)

Compensation
$40-55k base pay with significant commission potential, full health and benefits, and equity in the company
