Primary Function:

Bryant & Stratton College is currently seeking a Technology Coordinator. This person will provide administrative technical support to the Western, NY Market locations. The candidate is responsible for providing customer service to students, associates and any college vendors.


  • Maintain servers for Administrative and Student network
  • Maintain Win10 Workstation PC’s and MAC Workstations for Students and Associates
  • Assist with Students, Faculty and Administrative Email system including training
  • Hardware and software installs & troubleshooting
  • Printer and copier troubleshooting
  • Configure PC’s, MACs, and printers
  • Monitor AppAssure Backup Software \ Recovery
  • Act as help desk for all students, faculty, and staff
  • Train instructors and staff in use of new software
  • Maintain computer Lab, copier supplies
  • Maintain telephone system – Avaya IP Office
  • Maintain Multimedia devices
  • Maintain In House Security System
  • Assist Students, Faculty and Staff with personal computer devices/tablets per the college policy
  • PC Hardware break-fix services for students and associates
  • Manage phone system reporting and configuration
  • Server and network health monitoring
  • Support Faculty Blackboard LMS System
  • Move, Install, Set Up, Take Down IT equipment as necessary


  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Windows 7 / 8 / 10
  • Windows Server  2008 / 2012
  • Office 2013 / 2016 / Office 365
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Policies & Security
  • 2-3 years in related IT Field

The ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, with a diverse group of students and peers is required. This person must have the ability to think creatively, ask probing questions, recognize problems, formulate solutions, and have good follow-up skills. The Technology Coordinator will have a positive attitude and handle problems in a professional and courteous manner.

Minimum Requirements:

An Associates Degree is required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. If the degree is in a discipline other than Information Technology the candidate must possess at least four years of related work experience or evidence of specialized training or competency in the Computer Technology field. The candidate will exhibit strong organizational skills and willing to work flexible work hours to support evenings and Saturday mornings. The candidate must be proficient and have experience with Microsoft Office 2013 and 2016, Microsoft Windows 2008 Server, and Oracle applications.
