Position Overview:

The Social Media Intern will assist the Executive Team in brainstorming, creating, and posting content for our social media pages and assist with content for our blog, website, and collateral materials. The intern will report to and work closely with the COO.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Create new social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
• Enhance our existing social media accounts (LinkedIn)
• Draft, schedule, and post social media content, keeping our followers updated on AireXpert news
• Grow our followers across platforms
• Take photos and videos of the AireXpert team, develop compelling content and edit photos to match AireXpert’s Brand.
• Plan and create content based on relevant National Days and Months
• Brainstorm different ways to tell our story and educate our audience about our services
• Create and manage social media calendar

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student (Junior or Senior preferred)
• Up to 1 year of work experience in digital marketing/social media marketing
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in design tools including Canva
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Ability to take and edit photos and videos
