What you will be doing:

The Senior Manager, Corporate and SEC Reporting is a critical position in our accounting department and reports to the Director, Corporate Accounting. This position will play a key role in advancing the accounting department’s strategic priorities, and will work closely with departments across the organization.

  • Be responsible for ACV’s SEC financial reporting process, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K

  • Own the end-to-end process that supports the development formation of SEC filings on Form 10-Q and 10-K

  • Monitor, research and provide interpretation of new and proposed SEC rules to determine the financial reporting impact to ACV

  • Administer the financial reporting system used to create SEC filings, including assigning tasks to direct reports and other team members within Accounting

  • Partner with colleagues in other departments, including the internal Legal department and Investor Relations, in the drafting of Forms 10-Q and 10-K

  • Interact with ACV’s independent accounting firm in connection with the annual audit of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

  • Support the implementation and execution of internal controls for the areas managed

  • Supervise and manage team of staff and senior accountants

What you will need:

  • BA/BS Accounting degree required, MBA/Masters degree preferred.

  • CPA required.

  • Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience required including at least 3 years of supervisory experience.

  • Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC financial reporting rules required

  • Experience with SEC financial reporting (e.g., financial statements within Forms 10-K and 10-Q) required. Experience researching new SEC guidance and evaluating the impact on an organization’s financial reporting and related disclosures.

  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office products and financial ERP systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in navigating ERP systems (NetSuite and SalesForce preferred).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop solutions to business problems.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining the ability to prioritize and facilitate cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
