We currently have a very exciting opportunity for a talented, seasoned Systems Administrator to join our team! This position will be a member of the larger IT team reporting to the Corporate Director of Information Technology.
Job Requirements
The Systems Administrator will create value by being the primary information technology resource at the assigned facility. This position is responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware, software, and related infrastructure with the goal of efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
Responsibilities :
Act as support for user workstations, servers, plant floor production computers and data collection, and any other IT related equipment at the facility level
Participate as a team member in a larger IT environment for the continuous improvement of overall IT operations and the support of smaller facilities that do not have dedicated IT personnel Assist in effectively supporting a growing user base across a geographically distributed environment.
Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software for maintenance, licensing, and valuation purposes
Effectively document department procedures, support cases, system configurations, and network layouts
Maintain good organizational skills, communication skills, congenial desk-side manner, capacity to work interface effectively with both technical and non-technical users and the ability to work independently
Support facility LANs both wired and wireless
Willingness to support a 24/7 production environment
Willingness to travel as necessary
Qualifications
Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1
Microsoft Windows Server 2003r2, 2008, 2008r2, 2012
Microsoft Active Directory including group policy management skills
Standard network operations such as DNS, DHCP, file servers, print servers, etc. VMWare 5.0+
Office 365
Citrix XenApp 6+
Experience in backup and recovery
IP phone setup and administration
LAN and WLAN administration
PC and server imaging/cloning
Office 2010 & 2013
Mac OS desktop and server
