You will bring influence to our strategies, processes, and business model to continually make us best positioned to support partnerships with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and community healthcare practices.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

Leading a network of community engagement specialists to curate a strategy for each of the communities where Circuit operates.

Guiding and participating in the development of Circuit’s public positioning on Diversity & Access in Clinical Trials as we develop national thought leadership on clinical trials engagement.

Chairing our Participant Engagement Council to continuously partner and collaborate with national leaders who are passionate about bringing clinical trials as a care option to under-represented communities.

Be a vocal participant in Circuit’s leadership, to enhance Circuit’s internal DE&I positioning to ensure systemic equity and a culture of welcoming throughout the organization.

Speak at national conferences and webinars and help develop whitepapers on clinical trials transformation via improved Diversity and Access in clinical trials and availability of clinical trials as a care option within local community healthcare clinics.

Lead the Participant Engagement Council to enhance and facilitate Circuit’s work with Community Engagement to enhance awareness of clinical trials as a care option, patients’ rights within a clinical trial and build the Circuit brand.

In partnership with our Network Services, develop an FQHC “playbook” and team training with cultural sensitivity insights, value proposition refinement, and messaging insights to ensure the Network Team can effectively understand FQHC client needs and respond in both culturally sensitive and economically meaningful ways.

Develop a formal DEI process, plan, and metrics to ensure a culture of welcoming and performance that spans talent sourcing, recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development.

Partner with Marking to ensure our materials and messaging are culturally sensitive and engaging and reflective of our ethos.

Who You Are:

We prize 4 traits above all others:

Hungry: we like people who are ambitious for themselves AND for our Mission and for each other – will all win together and that takes real drive

Happy: we seek pragmatic optimists – pessimism and ironic dispositions, especially in leadership can kill startups – we seek those who know the world can be improved by those who work hard and smart to change it

Humble: not the false “I’m not really anything” kind of modesty – we like swagger! But we prize people who are confident who know they are great, and so is everyone around them… and act accordingly

Smart: there are a LOT of smart people here… but smart is last for a reason. We want those kinds of smart people who can collaborate and respect the intelligence of others.

You are a people person who thinks the best of people and coaches without judging.

You can have difficult conversations and address the “elephant in the room” to drive the team forward and advance the organization.

You are results oriented and see projects through to the finish line without losing momentum – you are comfortable connecting with others at all levels of the organization to help drive a culture of accountability and performance.

You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and written. You will need to clearly articulate the business, vendor and customer needs and provide status updates to leadership.

You are collaborative and work well in a team environment.

You practice accountability – taking ownership for your work and results.

You prioritize well but can continually shift priorities based on business needs.
